Yesterday morning I was enjoying Sunday with the SRC family, and enjoying not being in the front leading the songs when I turned around and in walks this dude into the back of the room. From the back I thought, "Wow, who is this?" Then I thought, "That's Noah Kaye!"
Noah is a special friend from Bowie. Our paths crossed through professional acquaintance, but our friendship has grown to deep mutual respect and encouragement. Noah is currently on sabbatical from his church, and was churchless yesterday. What an honor that he would come sit under my teaching for refreshment in the Lord. I was so happy that we could host him.
As usual he was very encouraging regarding the things he experienced at SRC yesterday. Glad we could be a blessing, and nice to be surprised.

Just reading this. The honor was mine to BE hosted....with no warning. Sorry I was late. That is how we do it in our context. LOL!
