As ministry is shared among more and more people at SRC I find myself ever more grateful. Ephesians 4 puts into perspective what Pastors are for: preparing God's people for works of ministry. But as I share it more and more with God's people I stand more and more amazed that in a culture like ours volunteers would step forward to invest time and energy in this venture.
Following Christ is bound to be counter-cultural, but seeing it unfold is humbling and gives me a thankful heart.
