Many of you know I have a friend named Noah that is the lead pastor of Capitol Christian Fellowship in the Greenbelt area. They are a Mennonite fellowship that saw the vision of SRC as something they wanted to be part of so they have picked us up for support. We're so thankful for their contribution.
Part of the joy of this church plant is the connection I have made with pastor's like Noah. Noah is younger than I am, but his leadership is a great model for me. It is also great to have a partner in whom I can trust and verbally work through things that I'm thinking about and decisions that I'm making.
I also appreciate that he picks up the check when we meet. He told me that it is kind of a personal gift to the vision of SRC for him to pay for my meal when we meet. Thanks for the meal Noah!
It's so exciting to hear the great things that are happening for CCF. They have some strategic decisions ahead, and I thought I might impose on my readers to say a prayer for CCF and pastor Noah today for wisdom.
