It is a sad ordeal that the Hokies are going through. I think our nation grieves with them, I know I do. It's been interesting for me to be here during this, because I was at VFCC when Columbine happened. I remember walking into my dorm room, and seeing a friend watching TV in the middle of the day, an odd occurrence. He was transfixed on this national tragedy. I saw the same look on students faces on Monday as I left lunch. They were gathered around TVs outside the cafeteria.
I'm sorry for this tragedy. I hope our prayers (and yes, we really pray) bring the comfort of the Holy Spirit to these families and friends.
