Had A Great Day

I ended up holed up in the Severna Park Library for the morning hours, actually found some commentaries in the Library that aided my study, and collected some inspiration from the new J.J. Abrams edition of WIRED magazine. Then came home for lunch and stuck around my desk to pull info off the interweb and study some more. Learning a lot about Habakkuk, and looking forward to sharing it in our upcoming series, "Twiddle".

I've got that issue of Wired. What was so good about it? I'm something like 6-12 issues behind. So it might be forever before I get to it.

Not too much I guess. I don't subscribe, but had heard that JJ was involved in this issue. Abrams is one of the originators of my favorite show, LOST. It's a cool magazine though. If I didn't already have too many magazines in the queue I would get it.

I'm one of those people that loves to get mail, magazines included - yet unfortunately don't take the time to read them. Most of my reading is done online, and surprisingly a lot of it on wired.com. Odd.

I've started the habit recently that when I get a magazine, I take it inside and skim through it immediately. That way I get a sense for what's there, then I can read things that stand out as interesting and process the rest at a slower pace.
