Last night we hosted our first small group meeting. I was thankful for everyone there. I really felt like God was a part of our conversation last night. Though it wasn't a typical small group, it was very meaningful. Almost everyone was part of the conversation in one way or another, and I think that the collection of ideas is important as we form this church. We, of course, are the church, so what will that look like then? Who has God created us to be?
I was really excited by the questions and grappling that went on. Thanks to all who were there.

Thanks for making Laurie and I a part of it. We enjoy having the chance to connect with you over the phone since we can't be there in person. And although Laurie hasn't been able to participate in one of our phone conversations yet, I have been reporting to her and she is excited to see you all again soon. God bless!
Being my first attendance to a small group meeting, i found it interesting. I enjoyed the conversation that took place, and was able to find something to take away from it, which of course makes it much more personally meaningful. I do beleive a lot can be said by the statement "We are the church".
Drew,
Sometimes small group is about what you "get", and others it's about what you "give".
That was a great meeting. I loved the conversation that was expressed from all kinds of people with all kinds of thoughts. It is an environment in which community, transformation, and leadership development can occur.
Thanks for your input.
