Update

Well, I wish I had more news, but I get asked often enough now that I thought I'd start putting some updates here on my site.

• I'm still unemployed. I have been able to pick up a little work here and there, but nothing steady.
• I was in touch with a church in Virginia for a Youth and Master's Commission position, and was even told that we would line up an interview, but haven't heard anything since.
• I have for months been submitting my résumé to churches, and been hearing nothing. * I did receive a rejection letter from a church on Wednesday that I applied for in November.
  
• I received a phone call from a man this week that was submitting my résumé to a church in Western Maryland. He is kind of a clearinghouse of connection for ministers and churches in our District.
  
• I've learned that these searches are usually conducted by a committee or board that meets once a week. Their urgency and my urgency are functioning on different frequencies. :-)
