Ben, when I was a kid I used to mow lawns. I could fill the gas can up for $2.50. Last night I filled my gas can up. $15.75. Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!
Yeah, and I used to get change at McDonalds.........it is said that someday, a bag of gold will buy a loaf of bread! Lift up your head, Redemption draweth nigh!!!
When I was a kid (a generation before Pastor Noah) I pumped gas in a full service station including washing the windshields front and back, checking the oil and belts and the gas was 31.9 CENTS per gallon and as low as 27.9 cts when there was a "gas war". I once put over 27 gallons in a 1965 Pontiac Bonneville and the cost was $9.25. At today's prices it would have been $102.70.

Our Prius is getting close to 51 MPG on average
Its sad. I haven't been driving as long as some, but to see gas go up in price 4 times the price it was when I started driving is nuts!
Where did you see it for $4/gal? I've been finding it this week at $3.65-$3.70 range.
One thing I never thought of before that is always on my mind now, "Do I really need to drive there?"
