I met last night with a couple of our leaders on the Operations Team. Christine is leading our church in the area of Prayer, and Rob is leading in the area of FaithWorks for volunteers. We are currently reading Developing The Leader Within You, by John Maxwell. Last night's chapters dealt with leading change and problem-solving. The thing I love about these two leaders is that they came with notebooks open ready to take notes on the discussion. I've seen them begin to wrestle with the ownership of their ministry, and it is taking them to a higher level. These are people who are gaining my trust over their respective areas, and I believe solving the problems that need to be solved. It is no easy task, but they are going to lead us this year.
