Man, have I got some book reviews coming up. I just have no motivation to write them. Recently I've read Breakout Churches, In a Pit With a Lion On a Snowy Day, and am still reading Velvet Elvis. (If anyone is interested in Velvet Elvis, let me know I have a small quantity of brand new books that I'll sell for $10.00. That's below amazon's new and used prices.)
I'll get to the reviews soon. Which would you like to hear about first? That may give me some motivation.

P.S. I've noticed some of you checking out Sermon Open-Source. I'm glad, please jump in and get in on the conversation.

Test comment. Someone said they were having trouble.
I'm testing it with a new name.
You should tease with a synopsis of each because the titles by themselves aren't very intriguing.
Synposizing is the point of the articles. I actually only wrote that because I wanted to use the word Synopsizing. :-)
Breakout Churches = a study based on churches who have broken out of a decline into remarkable growth. strongly tied to the business book Good to Great by: Peter Collins.
In A Pit = the latest offering from pastor Mark Batterson. (evotional.com) His own synopsis has to do with the fact that at the end of your life the regrets for what you should have done will be worse than the things you wish you had not done. A seize your destiny type book with Christian worldview.
Velvet Elvis = Do you think we (Christ-followers) have it all figured out? This book begins a conversation of what it might really mean to be a disciple. Warning! Book contains graphic dissonance for traditional views of Christian spirituality. ;-)
I know that you're not selling the Velvet Elvis that was given to you as a gift and signed by people who hoped you would cherish it and be thankful forever, right?
Breakout Churches - Interest LOW
In A Pit - Interest HIGH (ask me why)
Velvet Elvis - you mean it's talking about Truth? I'll take a copy!
Sarah, No, I wouldn't sell that copy. I treasure it. And it is well marked up on the inside now as well.
Badguy,
Why?
It does speak alot about the Bible, so it is "about" truth. I'll bring one by in January.
Why? I got the job! Crazy lifestyle changes coming my way, and one of my motivations is NOT wanting to wake up someday and ask myself, why didn't I go for it.
Sounds like a great book for you then.
